Join the Alaska Tribal Conservation Alliance and its partners Alaska Village Initiatives, agAlaska, USDA/Farm Service Agency, USDA/Natural Resources Conservation Service, Alaska Carbon Exchange and the Fairbanks Soil & Water Conservation District for the 2019 Regional Conference.
The goal of the conference is to bring together ANC’s, Regional and Village Corporations and Tribes – exchanging information; sharing resources and knowledge by providing a starting point future conversations.
The conference supports and promotes the conservation of natural resources, sustaining our traditional lifestyles and food security through agriculture in rural Alaska.
The conference answers questions about our future, including:
Where are the potential funding sources for food projects in the village?
How does our village form a Tribal Conservation District?
Who can help us plan for our future?
How do you teach our youth about agriculture and food security?
Scholarships to assist with housing and travel are available for a limited time.
