Wilburforce Foundation
The Wilburforce Foundation funds in a variety of priority regions, including Alaska’s Arctic regions. The focus is on increasing the connectivity of this vast northern landscape and protecting its wildlife. Priorities include creating a large connected conservation landscape in the Alaskan Arctic that supports wide-ranging wildlife species, improving the scientific basis for durable protections and wildlife corridors in the U.S. Arctic, improving the stewardship of Arctic wildlife across the region, and supporting and enhancing Alaska-based partnerships that build and maintain strong constituencies for the Arctic and Alaskan public lands. Application guidelines are available on the Foundation’s website. Applicants who are interested in submitting a grant proposal must contact the Foundation prior to developing a proposal.
